Quick AF Review: Childish Gambino (ft. Kid Cudi) - Warlord LEAK

A fuzzy/unmastered leak for a 2018 Gambino track was sent out into the world early this morning. I first listened and heard about the leak from the tweet below.

The track has mix of Awaken instrumentals and BTI/STN MTN Mixtape vocals. Leaning heavy on the Yeezus style autotune for both Gambino and Cudi's verses, the track feels like a small part of a bigger concept that could have been or may become.Though the track debut during Gambino's Pharos event, which was the beginning of his huge musical shift, it is great to hear more rap heavy lyrics and delivery. I'm positive this is not the final production sound either artist were going for and I hope to get a cleaned up, full length track in the near future. Donald Glover has recently mentioned he is not done with music and has some things in the works and I am full of wishful thinking to imagine this being a part of his next project.

In any case, I did not expect to get anything new from DG after the untitled, number heavy album 3.15.20.
