Setlist FM and Setlistify (Not a Sponsor)
Are you as obsessed as I am on remembering the songs an artist played during their show? Have you taken your phone out to write down every song a band performs because you know their discography by heart?
If you answered yes to either of those questions let me introduce you to Setlist.Fm
Wait, you know about setlist fm? You probably are the type that checks the encore to see if leaving early to beat traffic is worth it. Or you don't want the anticipation of your favorite song to give you a heart attack. Either way, I digress.
Let me rephrase, allow me to introduce you to why you should sign up for setlist fm instead of just searching "Harry Styles Set List from Last night".
The reason is actually pretty simple, if you are anything like me, you like to track everything concert related. With a setlist fm account you get more than just a quick guide to the setlists you've heard live. You get analytics. All of them.
Want a bar graph of the artists you've seen the most? How bout figuring out which venues you've visited or how many times Aerosmith plays Dream On (spoiler, its a lot).
Not only do I love how much information I can get with the shows I have attended, with the app Setlistify, I can copy any set list url and make a playlist on my favorite music platform so I can hear my own personal album of my favorite artists.
Now I know this amount of information is not needed for the casual concert goer, but odds are if you have read this whole post, casual is not your bag. Sign Up already. It's Free.
Thanks for reading and let me know what your favorite setlist has been.
Until Next Time,
-AF
